1. What types of activities are offered?
We offer a variety of activities including mini-cooking, junior boxing, Lego, arts, dance, gymnastics, multi-sport, tennis, ping pong, French lessons, tutoring, and flamenco.
2. How can I book a place for my child?
Bookings can only be made through our official email: afterschooldreamscanada@gmail.com.
3. Are there any cancellations or refund policies?
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours of the class starting, you will be charged for that session.
4. Is there a uniform required for activities?
Yes, a T-shirt is required as a uniform for mini cooking, junior boxing, gymnastics, arts, dance, multi-sports, tennis, Lego, and ping pong. You can order the T-shirt through our website.
5. What are the prices and payment policies?
Fun afternoons and homework club are flexible in terms of booking and pick-up times, but prices remain the same regardless of pick-up time.
Invoices will be sent at the end of each term and must be paid within a week of receipt.
Payments for camps must be made in advance. Cancellations for camps can be made 48 hours in advance, and the amount can be used for another day, but refunds are not available.
6. What happens if I am late picking up my child?
For pick-ups at 16:30, there is a 5-minute grace period (until 16:35). After that, children will be taken to tardes or club.
For pick-ups at 17:30, we will wait until 17:35. Delays of up to 25 minutes (until 18:00) will incur a £15 penalty. Delays of more than 25 minutes will incur a £50 penalty.
7. Why are there penalties for late pick-ups?
Late pick-ups affect our schedule and the closing time of the school and staff. We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a smooth operation.
9. Can my child switch activities after booking?
If you wish to switch activities, please contact us via email as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes based on availability.
10. Is there a limit to how many activities my child can participate in?
While there is no set limit, please keep in mind that spaces for daily activities are limited and must be reserved per term.
11. What safety measures are in place during activities?
We prioritize safety and have trained staff supervising all activities. We also follow health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all participants.
12. Are snacks or meals provided during activities?
Snacks are not provided, so please ensure your child comes with a healthy snack if they will be attending activities that extend over snack time.
13. How do I get updates about activities and schedules?
All updates will be communicated via email. Please ensure we have your correct email address on file.
14. What should my child bring to the activities?
Children should wear appropriate clothing for physical activities including the uniform t-shirt, bring any necessary materials (like homework or supplies for specific activities), and a water bottle.
15. Is there a waitlist if activities are full?
Yes, if an activity is full, we will maintain a waitlist. Please email us to request a spot on the waitlist.
